According to Africa Foot, Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss has become a target for Arsenal, while Liverpool’s claims have been rebuffed.
The Moroccan international has three goals and three assists in 28 games since joining Leicester from KRC Genk last summer.
Although the attacking midfielder’s statistics are not particularly remarkable, Arsenal are thought to have taken note of his efforts for Leicester City.
The Gunners are said to be the’most interested’ team heading into the summer transfer season.
El Khannouss’ contract runs until 2028, but he will be ‘forced’ to hunt for a new club if Leicester are relegated from the Premier League. The Foxes are 19th, tied with Ipswich Town for 18th position, and nine points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are 17th.

Recent claims have mentioned Liverpool. A source close to the Leicester player has rejected this, stating that Arsenal is’most interested’ in England.
According to the same source, Lazio is interested in buying El Khannouss, while RB Leipzig wants to sign him on loan in the next window.
Leicester will have a say in all of this, even if they are relegated, and Africa Foot has not taken this into account.
