Arsenal have agreed to sign French defender Evan Ndicka during the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Players whose contracts expire in the summer, like Ndicka, are eligible for pre-contract negotiations this winter. It’s possible that the Arsenal have pounced on the highly regarded center-half.
This information is according to il Romanista who say that Roma will not see Ndicka wear the colours of the Giallorossi next season because Arsenal have already reached an agreement with the player.

The Gunners had loaned out Pablo Mari to Monza in the summer leaving Gabriel Magalhaes as the only senior left-footed centre-half at the club.
The Italian side will trigger an obligatory purchase option in the summer should they avoid relegation.
Mikel Arteta has favoured having naturally left-footed and right-footed centre-halves playing on their relevant sides.
This season Rob Holding has deputised in the Europa League and Carabao Cup having played on the left under both Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery.

Yet it appears the Arsenal manager wants to bring more quality to the defence and sporting director Edu wishes to make it as financially beneficial as possible.
Ndicka is a regular for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and started all of their league and Champions League games this season with one start in the DFB Pokal and he also started the UEFA Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid. He has managed to help keep five clean sheets in his 23 appearances this season.
Despite being just 23, he has played 119 times in the Bundesliga scoring nine goals and helping with seven assists.
He has made 17 appearances as a left-back and played for the French youth side nine times from under-16 to under-21 level but is yet to receive a senior call-up.
