Arsenal Ready To Pay ‘Fortune’ To Sign Sporting Star Man Ahead Of Man United

Ruben Amorim is prepared to breach the “non-aggression pact” with Sporting CP and find a way to sign striker Viktor Gyokeres this month, according to reports that surfaced earlier this month.

The Swede, who scored the most goals last season, doesn’t require an introduction at this stage.

To sign Viktor Gyokeres before Manchester United does, Arsenal is willing to pay his release clause, which is around £84.2 million.

This decision was taken by the Gunners in response to Gabriel Jesus’ ACL injury, reports Faithful MUFC.

Since Jesus is now expected to miss the remainder of the season, Kai Havertz is the only striker for Arsenal who isn’t a true number nine.

Given how well Ruben Amorim knows Gyokeres, Man Utd and Amorim are also interested in him.

The Red Devils’ biggest problem this season has been scoring goals, and neither Joshua Zirkzee nor Rasmus Hojlund have done enough to earn Amorim’s faith for the remainder of the campaign.

The Swede would therefore be a fantastic improvement.

Last year, Gyokeres was without a doubt the finest shooter in Europe, and based on his early 2025 performance, it appears that he will have a season to remember.
