Arsenal are reportedly considering to break their transfer plan and sign a striker in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are believed to have reignite their interest in Juventus forward, Dusan Vlahovic and plan to bring him in the winter window.
According to CaughtOffside, sources who are closely familiar with Arsenal’s plans have leaked an information that the north London outfit have been eager to add a new center-forward and that they would be willing to wait for Benjamin Sesko to arrive next summer.
However, as Vlahovic does not appear to be moving forward with a new contract with Juve, the Serbian international’s contract status at the Turin-based club has put Arsenal on high alert for a possible January signing.
The report further stated that Juve have also been considering Sesko as a possible target to assume Vlahovic’s place up front, which might have a cascading effect that Arsenal can exploit.
Given that Arsenal are prepared to step up their chase of a signing up front and Juventus are unwilling to lose Vlahovic on a shoestring, it might be advantageous for them to let the 24-year-old go this winter.

This may work out well for everyone because Mikel Arteta’s side could use Vlahovic to aid them this season. And the Bianconeri could use roughly €60 million transfer money to help them acquire Sesko in the summer.
Vlahovic may not be the top dream target for most Arsenal supporters. But he has demonstrated exceptional talent throughout his career in Italy. And it would be difficult to argue that he is not a better option than the struggling Gabriel Jesus.
