Arsenal Receive A Martin Odegaard’s Update Ahead Of North Derby

Michael Arteta has provided an update on the availability of many players in Arsenal, including captain Martin Odegaard ahead of the North London derby.

Upon his return to London, our medical staff evaluated our captain, who was forced to leave the game during Monday’s Nations League match between Norway and Austria due to an ankle injury.

His involvement at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is now uncertain due to this, reports Arsenal.

Mikel provided this update, saying that he wants to have his captain available as we look to win three consecutive games at our neighbors’ house, when questioned about it at his pre-game news conference.

“Let’s see what happens in the next day or so, we need some more tests,” he remarked.

“Let’s wait and see how soon we can bring him back, as well as the seriousness of the injuries.

He is so upbeat about everything. We have to wait and see, but we do know that Martin wants to be there every single day.

“He is willing, there’s no denying it. He clearly wants to be there for every game, especially one as important as this one, but we must first make sure we are aware of his potential.

“Let’s see what happens, but players with 48 hours to go are always available.”
