Arsenal have reportedly registered a second bid for Ukranian star Mykhaylo Mudryk. The winger has been strongly been linked to the Gunners and it has been clear Edu is taking an aggressive approach to secure a deal.
Last week, football.london understands that Arsenal submitted a bid in region of £55m to sign Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk ahead of the January window.
The bid was rejected, with the Ukrainian club holding out for a larger fee.
However, the initial rejection from Shakhtar has not prevented the Gunners from still attempting to secure their main target before the end of the January window.
This comes after Arsenal have decided to test the Ukrainian’s side resolve once again.
According to GOAL, Arsenal have made an improved offer for Mudryk as they step up their attempts to land their priority January transfer target.

Shakhtar are reportedly considering Arsenal’s second offer despite it still being way off their very public valuation of over £86million.
With the Gunners projected to finish at least in a Champions League qualification spot next season, it is important that depth is added to the forward areas.
Mudryk would certainly be an excellent acquisition and Arsenal are already putting themselves in a great position to secure a deal, if reports are accurate.
French news outlet Foot Mercato also reported on New Year’s Day that Arsenal submitted an improved offer for Mykhaylo Mudryk and a contract with the player has already been agreed.
