Arsenal Set To Rival Tottenham For £43M Summer Transfer

Arsenal are reportedly interested in rivalling Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Fiorentina forward, Moise Kean.

In light of their current injury problems, the Gunners were heavily predicted to sign a new center forward during the January transfer window.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Martinelli are all out for Arsenal at the moment due to injuries.

As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side have been strongly linked with recruiting a new striker ever since last summer, with those talks only growing as the injuries mounted up.

According to Caught Offside as reported by Football London, Kean has become a target for Arsenal as the summer transfer window approaches.

According to the report, the Gunners have shown interest in signing Kean, but Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur will be their rivals.

It has been claimed that Kean has a €52million (£43million) release clause in his contract at Fiorentina, which Arsenal are thought of triggering to bring the striker to the Emirates Stadium.

The report goes on to say that the 24-year-old would be keen on a return to the Premier League if Arsenal do express an interest.

Kean previously played for Everton, where he made 39 appearances but only managed four goals. With 19 goals in all competitions, the striker is currently enjoying some of his best goal-scoring form in Florence since returning to Italy.
