Callan Hamill, a St Johnstone youngster, is regarded as one of the country’s most promising young players, attracting interest from both Rangers and Celtic.
However, The Athletic reports that the Gunners have won the race to sign him.
According to the article, Hamill has trained with Arsenal’s young squads on several occasions in the past year.
And the club has finally finalised a deal to bring him to North London permanently.
Arsenal and St Johnstone are thought to have agreed on a six-figure sum, which will include additional potential add-ons.
Until he turns 16, the teenager will not be able to relocate to England.
Therefore, it has been agreed that on July 1st, he will formally join Arsenal, reports Mail Online.
Hamill is a Scotland U17 international who can play both center defense and right back.
In December, he was also a member of the Arsenal U17 team that won the Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil.
When Hamill turns 17 in March 2026, he will sign a professional contract after first joining Arsenal on a scholarship.
