Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is set to sign a new long-term contract at the Emirates after a superb season with the north London club.
With 13 league goals and 14 goals overall this season, the academy graduate has been one of the Gunners’ top scorers. With only Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard scoring more goals for Mikel Arteta’s team. The total is his greatest ever in a single season.
The season’s leading scorer Martinelli recently signed a new contract. And Saka is about to do the same. The Englishman would earn more than summer addition Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal thanks to the deal.
Saka is anticipated to quadruple his existing earnings on his new contract. The 21-year-old’s current contract expires at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season. His last extension was in 2020.
The Independent claimed that Saka is “committed” to coming to a deal with the club. After discussions that started before the new year, a new agreement may even be confirmed before the current campaign ends.
Saka isn’t the only Arsenal player rumored to have pledged his long-term loyalty to the club.
According to The Times, Aaron Ramsdale will see his pay “significantly increase.” While the Gunners are still hopeful of reaching a new contract with center-back William Saliba.

Saka has been crucial to Arsenal’s title push, which follows a fifth-place finish in the previous campaign.
Despite playing one fewer game than City, Arsenal are still trailing by one point. The next time out, Saka and his teammates will host Brighton before finishing the season with contests against Nottingham Forest and Wolves.
