Arsenal Set To Treble Saka’s Wage Amidst Liverpool Interest

After a brilliant World Cup start for England, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has seen his reputation keep growing.

Since being promoted to the senior team, Saka has been one of Arsenal’s top performances and, at just 21 years old, is an important player for both club and nation.

With Premier League rivals Manchester City and Liverpool continuing to show interest in the Hale End academy graduate, the Gunners are eager to sign him to a new, long-term contract.

Saka’s double helped England to an opening game victory at the Qatar 2022 World Cup but it was the quality of his strikes that showed his immense ability.

Gary Neville and ex-Gunners star Theo Walcott were just two of many to praise the 21-year-old after the Three Lions’ 6-2 win against Iran, with Arsenal keen to get a bumper new deal agreed with Saka.

Saka remains in contract negotiations with his current deal only having 18 months left, yet the Gunners do have the option to extend by a year.

The Gunners winger is said to be on around £70,000-a-week and as he continues to impress on the pitch, his value is soaring off it as City and Liverpool monitor his situation at the Emirates Stadium, as per The Mirror.

It could see him almost treble his salary towards £200,000-a-week. This will move him among the club’s top earners to earn a similar wage to that of England teammate Phil Foden.

Arsenal fear that if talks stall until after World Cup, then tying him down to a new deal will leave them with bigger bill.

Saka appears in huge demand as his current contract continues to run down.
