Arsenal have been told why Viktor Gyokeres will not lead them to the Premier League title, with one analyst mentioning Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez while also making an intriguing allegation about the Sporting CP attacker.
Arsenal will recruit a new striker this summer, with Newcastle’s Alexander Isak being the club’s top priority. However, with the Swede valued at a whopping £150 million by the Magpies, who are unwilling to sell, Isak’s compatriot Viktor Gyokeres could arrive as a cheaper option.
Gyokeres also has a key supporter in Andrea Berta, Arsenal’s new sporting director, who was introduced on Sunday.

Despite scoring 42 goals in 42 games (and adding 11 assists) for Sporting this season, former Premier League striker Troy Deeney is not convinced.
When asked if Gyokeres would fit Arsenal or Manchester United better, Deeney avoided the subject, claiming Gyokeres is not the answer for either club.
“You know when you say something, the clip is going to come back in six months,” Deeney told talkSPORT.
“I honestly believe he is a good footballer; he trains extremely hard, etc. But I don’t believe he’s a natural finisher.
“I understand that everyone will refer to his goal record. But I don’t think he’ll use either of those two to win the Premier League.
“That’s just my opinion; if he had, they’d have bought him already.
