Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Juventus star, Adrien Rabiot with a summer transfer believed to be on the cards.
A report from HITC as cited by CaughtOffside claims that the two English teams have already spoken with the midfielder’s agent in recent weeks.
The 28-year-old is expected to leave Juventus in the summer when he becomes a free agent. There have been rumors of a potential contract renewal. Even though both parties haven’t been able to reach a deal yet.
Rabiot has proven his mettle both on the international scene representing his country and in the Italian league with Juventus. He was instrumental in France’s progress to the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.
Given his physicality and technical ability, he could be a big asset to teams like Arsenal and Tottenham in the Premier League.
Spurs need a midfield maestro who can control the tempo of the game and provide defensive support. For players like Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma, Rabiot might be the ideal fit.
In regards to Arsenal, they are looking for a strong Thomas Partey replacement. The 28-year-old French international and Declan Rice could have a fantastic partnership at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.
Liverpool and Newcastle United are also said to be in contention with the two North London rivals for the midfielder.

Rabiot has previously been linked to a transfer to the Premier League. Before the start of last season, the Frenchman was on the verge of signing with Manchester United.
Because they have a good chance of making it into the Champions League the following season, he will be drawn to Arsenal and Tottenham.
