Havertz will miss the remainder of the campaign after sustaining a hamstring ailment while out in Dubai on a warm weather training camp with the rest of the squad.

Arteta’s forward resources are severely limited, thus he joins Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka on the sidelines.

As Arteta’s team looks to continue chasing Premier League leaders Liverpool, Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling, and Ethan Nwaneri are expected to start in the front three against Leicester on Saturday.

This season, the London team has experienced severe injury misfortune, with important players like center-half William Saliba and captain Martin Odegaard also missing extended stretches of play.

And despite the growing injury problems, Arteta is optimistic that his team can continue to perform well, reports Independent.

As his team gets ready to resume play, Arteta said, “We were having a great camp in Dubai, recharging, training, having some time off, and connecting again.”

The injury then occurred in an unanticipated manner. Clearly, it is a significant blow given our injuries.
