Aston Villa have reportedly contacted the agent of Inter Milan defender, Denzel Dumfries, who is a summer target for Manchester United.
According to FC Inter News as cited by TheHardTackle, Aston Villa are interested in the Netherlands international. The 27-year-old’s agent has been contacted by the Villans to discuss potential transfer ahead of the summer transfer window. United are also said to be interested in the Nerazzuri wing-back.
Since joining Inter, Dumfries has proven to be one of the top full-backs in Serie A. When the Dutchman got to San Siro, he was faced with the difficult task of taking Achraf Hakimi’s place. And he has exceeded the Moroccan international in every way, emerging as a key player for the Nerazzurri.
With 116 appearances for the Italian club so far, the 27-year-old has contributed 18 assists and 9 goals.
But as he approaches the last 18 months of his deal with the Nerazzurri, Dumfries faces an uncertain future at San Siro. Numerous elite clubs have taken notice of this peculiar situation.

Dumfries is a target for many European strongholds, including Bayern Munich. However, with Aston Villa entering the race, the Premier League is the source of the majority of interest.
