Mario Balotelli has thanked Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kevin-Prince Boateng for their words of support after the striker netted twice on his debut for Nice.
Balotelli featured for his new side on Sunday in their Ligue 1 contest against Marseille, and opened his account in the French top-flight just seven minutes into his debut from the penalty spot.
The Italian also netted with a deft header to bring his side level as Nice won the contest 3-2 on Balotelli’s debut.
The 26-year-old received a tremendous amount of praise for a mature outing, notably from fellow professionals Aubameyang and Boateng, who know the striker from their time in Italy.
Both players congratulated the former Liverpool striker on social media, prompting a response.
@KPBofficial @Aubameyang7 thanks my friends!👊🏾.. But we don't stop here we keep going!😘⚽️

Balotelli replied: “Thanks my friends! But we don’t stop here, we keep going!”
The No.9’s two goals in the contest on Sunday matched his league tally from the last two seasons, with one apiece coming for Liverpool in the Premier League and AC Milan in Serie A.
The forward’s best total is the 14 league strikes he managed for Milan in 2013/14, a record that Balotelli will be eager to better this season in France.
He recently described joining Liverpool as the “worst mistake” of his life, having left for Nice on a free transfer on deadline day.
