Barcelona  recent game against Sevilla saw the Blaugrana close the gap on top of the league table with a comprehensive 4-1 victory.

However, Barcelona suffered a big setback in the middle of the game when star defender Ronald Araujo sustained a knock and had to be substituted in the 22nd minute.

Araujo was substituted by Pau Cubarsi as the Uruguayan international struggled to continue the match. This caused immediate concerns inside the Barcelona camp.

In the post-match press conference, Hansi Flick confirmed that a final confirmation of Araujo’s injury will have to wait a day when testing are completed.

Araujo could be gone for three weeks.
