Barcelona chiefs are convinced Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum will be their player before the October transfer deadline.
New Barca coach Ronald Koeman has made the Dutchman a top target, having built a strong rapport with him from the time he was in charge of the national team.
Wijnaldum has entered the final year of his contract at Anfield, and Liverpool are reportedly reluctant to lose him for nothing next summer and could be backed into a corner over their man.
Goal says given the circumstances, the Blaugrana are confident they can lure Wijnaldum to the Nou Camp before the deadline of October 5.
Koeman is determined to sign the 29-year-old as he looks to freshen up the team after a disastrous 2019-20 campaign.
Barcelona have not yet put an offer in for Wijnaldum as they look to sell before bringing any players in.
