After completing their international duties, a handful of Barcelona players joined the rest of the club in training today as they prepare to face Rayo Vallecano.
According to Gerard Romero’s latest report, a handful of returnees, including Inigo Martinez, Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, and Joao Felix, have joined the available players and a few youth prospects in training today.
Joao Cancelo down with favour
However, star defender Joao Cancelo is not in training today, according to Romero, as the Portuguese international is currently suffering from a fever According to One football.
With the game against Rayo Vallecano still a few days away, it is unlikely that the 29-year-old will be available for the match on Saturday.
Cancelo has been a regular starter for both Barcelona and Portugal this summer, accumulating a large number of minutes without much rest.
