FC Barcelona has started preparing for the forthcoming season now that the January transfer window has ended without any new players being added.
The success of the current team under manager Hansi Flick has satisfied the Catalans.

However, if Barça has enough financial flexibility, they will bring in reinforcements before the upcoming season and are clear about the position they prioritize strengthening.
In fact, Barcelona director Deco acknowledged in an interview with SPORT that the team is still looking to add a left-winger.
“Olmo, Raphinha, Fermín, and other players can play a variety of positions, but it’s possible that we’re missing a left-winger,” Deco stated.
“It is not an absolute priority, though, because Raphinha is performing perfectly, and Fermin can play there even though it is not his natural position.
If you look at the squad, perhaps we could use one more player in that position,” he explained.
To improve their left-wing speed, Barcelona tried to get Marcus Rashford on loan in January.
The team still thinks a winger who can open up the left flank would be a great addition, reports Barca Universal.
Rashford is not expected to be available again, but Deco, the team’s sports director, has other candidates in mind for this position.
Potential targets have included players like Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak, and Luis Diaz.
Amid rumors of interest in signing a right-back, Deco also stated that Barcelona is content with their present full-back options.
