Forward Ferran Torres is still not back in group training as Barcelona prepares to play RCD Mallorca in La Liga on Friday night.
The 24-year-old forward has missed five league games and the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 against Napoli since suffering an injury in the game against Osasuna in late January.
Barca News states Ferran was expected to return to group training this week, and there were even hopes that he would play a few minutes against Mallorca to ensure he was fully prepared for Napoli.
However, it was revealed earlier this week that he might not be available for Friday’s game but would be available for the UCL match the following week.
Ferran Could Miss The Match Against Napoli Because He Is Out Against Mallorca
On the eve of Barcelona’s match against Mallorca, SPORT is now claiming that Ferran is still not back in training with the rest of the team.
The Barcelona forward will therefore be unable to play in tomorrow’s game at Montjuic, and his availability to play at home against Napoli the following week is also in jeopardy.

This is not a good development for Barça, as they already have injuries keeping out key players like Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri.
Before getting hurt, Ferran was in excellent form, so Xavi Hernandez and company would have welcomed his return.
But for the time being, fans must wait for the former Manchester City forward to return from his injury layoff.
