Barcelona are reportedly looking to sign Girona striker Pau Victor – who was previously on their books – this summer.
The 22-year-old scored 20 goals and provided six assists for Barca Atletic in the 2023/24 season.
Although the Catalan club missed the deadline to turn their €3 million buy option into a permanent deal. Barcelona continue to be hopeful about getting Victor back to the team.
According to Cadena SER, the Laliga giants have closed a deal for him to return from Girona, but MD disputes this information, saying that no deal has been finalized. And that any agreement that does occur will only be for the €2.5 million maximum that the Blaugrana have set for the deal.
Victor will no longer be playing third-tier football, according to both reports. If he does return, it will be to Montjuic as a member of the first team rather than for Barca Atletic at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

However, according to Football Espana, Barcelona will try to sign him again this summer at a profit. But if he is to join the first team, that would only fuel rumors that Vitor Roque won’t be there next summer.
If Victor arrives to stay, then the squad will have three natural number nines. And the report has consistently stated that the Blaugrana club will attempt to move Roque out this summer.
