Barcelona have reportedly joined Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign Bournemouth defender, Dean Huijsen.
Since Hansi Flick’s side now have too many center-backs and some may need to leave, the defense is one area of the Blaugrana team that is most likely to see some changes come summertime.
Jonathan Tah, a German defender, has been strongly linked to Barcelona for a while now, and the club have also been linked to other players for this position.
According to Barca News Network, Barcelona are eyeing up a move for Huijsen, whose performances have also attracted the interest of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

The Dutchman can be a solid complement to Pau Cubarsí in the center of their defense, and the two defenders can remain their starting center-backs for years to come, with the Catalan giants currently only considering different defensive alternatives.
Since Eder Militao have sustained long-term injuries, Real Madrid are also searching for defensive reinforcements. Los Blancos believe Huijsen would be a fantastic addition to bolster their defense because he can provide the necessary solidity.
In a similar vein, Liverpool are seeking a dependable center-back to go with players like Joe Gomez, Ibrahim Konate, and Virgil van Dijk.
In the coming summer, the Dutchman’s €50 million release clause will be activated, and given the strong market demand, it will be intriguing to watch where he plays next season.
