FC Barcelona has finalized the exits of two first-team players, Vitor Roque and Ilkay Gundogan, during the last several days.
Only a year after moving to Catalonia, Gundogan, 33, is ready to sign a free transfer to rejoin his old team, Manchester City.
The remaining aspects of Vitor Roque’s loan agreement, which might last one year or perhaps two years, are still being worked out. He is currently on his way to Real Betis.
Although Roque was director Deco’s personal wager, the club is offloading him since he hasn’t convinced anybody. Barcelona forced Gundogan go because they couldn’t sign new acquisition Dani Olmo.

Former player and club great Rivaldo is not totally persuaded by Barcelona’s choice to split ways with Ilkay Gundogan and Vitor Roque.
In fact, the former Ballon d’Or winner said that the Blaugrana will miss Gundogan, who was among the team’s finest players the previous season.
Rivaldo remarked, “Barça will miss him a lot if it is confirmed.”

Regarding his countryman Vitor Roque, Rivaldo continued, saying Barcelona had accepted his departure much too quickly. He did, however, mention that the young player had what it takes to bounce back from his Betis loan stint stronger.
“Vitor is heading to an amazing club.” It’s a fantastic squad to represent. He will be able to demonstrate his skill as a player in a league like the Spanish league,” he said.
