Spanish titans Barcelona and Real Madrid will go head to head for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli in the summer.
The 20-year-old has been the talk of the town in recent weeks after his fine form, with his stock skyrocketing since his impressive double ended Chelsea’s winning run on Wednesday.
Alli, who cost Spurs just £5 million when they signed him as a promising youngster from MK Dons in February 2015, has been heavily linked with a move away as a result of his exceptional form.
A move to China has been mooted, but the Mirror reports that it is Real Madrid and Barcelona who want to lure the England international away from White Hart Lane.
Madrid were linked heavily with Alli earlier this week – they have history of luring Spurs players to the capital after moves for Gareth Bale and Luka Modric in the past – but Barcelona have now joined the hunt.
The aforementioned report reveals that the Spanish sides would have to cough up at least £70 million if Spurs were to cash in on the midfielder.
