With some extremely positive performances in recent weeks, FC Barcelona has been able to turn things around and is now well-positioned to contend for both La Liga and the Champions League.
Nevertheless, Xavi Hernandez has already declared his intention to quit the team at the end of the current campaign, so this change in form does not, as of yet, change that reality. Nevertheless, given the team’s recent improvement, there has been word from the Catalans that Xavi wants to stay on staff.

But Xavi hasn’t changed his mind about staying with the team, and he won’t if there are significant changes at Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.
One of the requirements for Xavi to think about staying at the Catalan team is for his squad to win the Champions League and La Liga, or even just to play well all the way through. Xavi could think about staying in this circumstance, and his family would also favor it.
The Barcelona head coach does, however, have certain additional requirements, most of which have to do with the team’s capacity to fortify itself in the upcoming summer.
