According to Carlos Monfort, Barcelona sporting director, Deco, met with club president Joan Laporta after his trip to London, where he met Hansi Flick, who is widely regarded as Xavi’s likely successor.

It is worth noting that the Barcelona board has been silent since last Wednesday. Laporta’s annoyance was obvious throughout the news conference that altered Xavi’s future.
The recurrent silence from Laporta and Deco says volumes, since the former, outraged, quickly departed for Almeria, while Deco, missing for personal reasons, was also not present.
