Barcelona Receive Another Injury Boost Ahead Of ‘Tough’ Week

Following Fermin Lopez’s recovery from injury, Barcelona have received another injury boost ahead of the week where they will clash with Sevilla, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.

According to Barca Universal, Dani Olmo is set to receive a green light from the club’s medical department to return to the team’s fold ahead of the crucial week.

The 26-year-old who joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer, performed well as he had three goals in three games before suffering an injury during the victory over Girona.

The Spanish player’s recuperation has been going great, and it was anticipated that he would be sidelined for four to five weeks.

Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that the former RB Leipzig player will soon receive his medical all-clear. Meaning that he should be available for this weekend’s match against Sevilla.

Previous sources indicate that Barca have a well-thought-out plan to get Olmo back into play.

In order to prepare Olmo to start in the El Clasico match against Real Madrid at the end of the month. The Blaugrana outfit plan to give him just a few minutes of action against Sevilla before increasing his minutes against Bayern Munich.

After returning to training for nearly a month, Gavi is also anticipated to get the all-clear from the club’s medical department.
