Barcelona are reportedly ready to launch a bid for Manchester United’s out-of-favour right-back Diogo Dalot.
The Catalans were keen to sign Dalot back in 2018 when he was on the books at Porto but were outbid by United, who paid £19 million to secure his signature.
But his time at Old Trafford hasn’t gone according to plan, with Dalot making just 11 appearances in all competitions this season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are now considering launching another bid for the 21-year-old and are confident they could sign him for around £10m.
The Portugal Under-21 international still has three years remaining on his contract at United but his sale could help to fund their summer transfer plans.
Barca have been linked with Juve’s Mattia De Sciglio but dismissed the talk this week, as they press forward with their pursuit of Dalot.
The Spanish club first coveted Dalot after watching him during Portugal’s Under-17 European Championship success over Spain.
Dalot continued to impress Barca scouts with his performances for Porto’s youth teams before he then broke into the first team.
Barca were eventually outbid by United and signed another Portuguese full-back, Nelson Semedo from Benfica, but they remain keen admirers of the youngster.
Dalot, who only turned 21 in March, last made an appearance for United in their 2-1 FA Cup win over Norwich, but was replaced by Brandon Williams after 63 minutes.
