Barcelona Star Snubs €100M Offer From Saudi Arabia

Barcelona talismanic striker, Robert Lewandowski reportedly rejected a €100 million offer from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia.

Lewandowski had a slow start to the season, but in recent weeks, he has finally found his scoring groove for Barcelona. His improved play has coincided with the team’s improved results.

The forward, who will turn 36 in a few months, is in excellent physical condition and has demonstrated that he can still have an impact even though he is nearing the end of his career.

Lewandowski’s Barça contract expires in 2026. But there is an optional one-year extension after 2025 that will come into effect if he plays a certain number of games the following season.

However, there have been rumblings about his future, with Saudi Arabian clubs expressing a keen interest.

A Middle Eastern team has presented Lewandowski with an enormous €100 million contract offer, as was previously reported last week.

Lewandowski, according to Mundo Deportivo as reported by Barca Universal, has turned down the massive €100 million offer from the unidentified Saudi Arabian club.

The 35-year-old is content and at ease in Barcelona. And as a result, he is not currently considering leaving the club.

Thus, the former Bayern Munich star turned down Saudi Arabia’s massive €100 million contract offer.

Regarding Lewandowski, Barcelona are pleased with both his on-field accomplishments and his leadership, which is considered a valuable asset.

Thus, barring a major setback, Lewandowski and the Catalan club will stick together for at least another season. With the outfit planning a spectacular acquisition of Erling Haaland in 2025.
