Barcelona cruised to a 3-0 victory over Osasuna, moving three points clear at the top of La Liga despite their displeasure at having to play their match on Thursday. The Catalans’ appeal against the rescheduling of this game was denied, but Hansi Flick’s team, unbeaten in 19 matches across all competitions, cruised past Osasuna, ranked 14th. Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo scored in the first half, while Robert Lewandowski followed up after the intermission. Barcelona were without important winger Raphinha, who played for Brazil in South America on Wednesday in World Cup qualifying, but they cruised at the Olympic Stadium nevertheless.
“We have three more points, but Dani’s injury cost us dearly,” Flick told reporters.
“We don’t know how long he will be out but if it’s two weeks, he’ll miss a lot of games and if it’s three weeks even more.”
The match was supposed to take place on March 8, but it was postponed after a Barcelona club doctor died.

Some players, such as France’s Jules Kounde, played 120 minutes for their country on Sunday before returning to play.
“Selecting this date is disrespectful to the club,” Kounde told DAZN.
“We’re not machines and to play our game and give the fans what we want, we need rest.”

Flick benched veteran striker Lewandowski and replaced him with Torres, who performed admirably.
“Every game is a final, so today’s was a final, it was important for us,” Torres told DAZN on Monday.
Barcelona dominated the game from the opening, taking the lead with Torres after 11 minutes.
