Barcelona’s Raphinha has turned down an offer to move to Newcastle United after the Premier League team reached an agreement.
As the Premier League team “would be willing to reach 60 million euros for his transfer, exactly the amount that the club paid for his services” to Leeds United.
Rumors state that Newcastle and Barcelona have already “closed the agreement.” according to Football 365
But the Brazil international is “refusing to pack his bags” and “has no intention of leaving” the Camp Nou, particularly for Newcastle, who are “still far from the great teams in Europe.”

“Perhaps Nico Williams’ arrival and realizing he won’t have the minutes he expects will cause him to change his mind,” the story continues.
In order to reinvest in the team, Newcastle CEO Darren Eales acknowledged earlier this year that the Magpies could need to sell some of their best players.
Newcastle is reportedly considering moving for Raphinha, one of their preferred players, in order to lessen the damage if they are forced to trade some of their top players.
Eales said ‘Every choice we make will always be considered in light of the club’s medium- to long-term benefits. Although it’s hard to comment on individual individuals, I can state that trading players is occasionally required if we’re going to reach our goals.’
However, the Carioca does not plan to relocate today.
