In Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad, Lewandowski sustained a back injury and had a goal controversially disallowed.

Barcelona confirmed in a statement that Lewandowski will be rested for around ten days due to issues with his lumbar region.

The 36-year-old should return for Barcelona’s next league match on November 23 against Celta Vigo, but he will miss Poland’s forthcoming Nations League matches against Portugal and Scotland.

Due to a right ankle injury, Yamal was unable to play in Sunday’s match in San Sebastian and is anticipated to be out for two to three weeks, according to the club.

The 17-year-old will miss Barca’s trip to Vigo, Spain’s games against Switzerland on Monday and Denmark on Thursday, reports Sports NDTV

Additionally, he is doubtful for the November 26 Champions League match at home against Brest and the subsequent La Liga matchup with Las Palmas.

Lewandowski is presently the leading striker in La Liga with 17 goals across all competitions, whereas Yamal has only scored six goals in his 15 outings this season.

Barcelona has nine points, good for sixth place in the Champions League.
