Barcelona are set to allow Ansu Fati decide his future at the club as a Laliga club have reportedly made an enquiry about the possibility of signing him.
Fati, who returned from a season away on loan, has struggled to get minutes at Barcelona under Hansi Flick. Mendes wanted to know the club’s plans and their stance on the 21-year-old La Masia forward.
The Catalan club made it apparent to Mendes that although Fati has had the same chances as teammates to compete for minutes, he clearly does not play a significant role in the coach’s plans.
As a result, according to Barca Universal, the player will determine his own fate and the club will not impose any decisions. As they have done in the past, Fati and his camp will facilitate a loan move in January if they think it is the wisest course of action.
The Spain international has a high-value contract that expires in 2028, thus it is imperative that he plays and establishes himself.
According to the report, Sevilla, who visited Barcelona last week, have made another inquiry on Fati.
Garcia Pimienta, the manager of the Andalusian team, has kept in touch with the player and thinks he can be the attacker who can bring their attacker back to life.

Fati would be given a significant position at Sevilla by Pimienta, but things are complex because of the strained relationships between the clubs.
Mendes is looking into other options at the same time. But Fati will eventually choose his future according to the offers that are made.
