Barcelona are reportedly set to include Ronald Araujo in their matchday squad against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League without a medical clearance from the club doctors.
Despite not having received medical clearance, Araujo is keen to get back to duty after missing over four months of play because of a hamstring injury sustained in July.
As a result, his participation in the game against Dortmund will probably now be more significant. The defender is still working on getting back to full fitness, so it is not anticipated that he will play right away.
Despite the fact that Araujo is not anticipated to play a significant part in the game, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has decided to include him in the squad in order to make sure he doesn’t miss any more group training sessions.

According to Barca Universal, if all goes according to plan, he will make his comeback to the pitch on Sunday against Leganes at Montjuic.
Araujo’s recovery will take time, and he will probably only play for ten to fifteen minutes at start. It’s yet unclear which player will start in his place in the starting lineup.
This season, Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez have both been playing well, and if Flick decides to use Jules Kounde as a right-back, Araujo might even take Kounde’s spot.
Araujo’s return is a big step forward for the team and the player, regardless of the lineup choices.
