Ansu Fati is open to leaving Barcelona should he continue to lack sufficient game time, his agent Jorge Mendes has warned.
Fati has played in all 11 of Barcelona’s LaLiga games so far this season, but he has only started two of those contests, scoring in his most recent start against Villarreal last week.
Mendes has now revealed that the Spaniard will think about leaving the Nou Camp in the near future in an effort to get opportunities with the first team more frequently.
However, according to the Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona are unconcerned about the issue because of Fati’s huge €1bn (£868m) release clause.
This season, Fati has made 16 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions and has produced three goals and three assists.
The winger has also assembled four caps for Spain since his debut in 2020 and is widely regarded as one of the most talented teenage footballers on the planet.
