Barcelona salary problems haven’t stopped them from making huge purchases in the past, so it would be shocking if they didn’t try to sign at least one star this summer.

Sporting Director Deco has stifled rumors of a transfer by saying that they don’t need many players to join, but the left-wing position still appears to be their first priority.
Barcelona looks to try to add a starting-caliber left-sided player, far from a rotational option or a player for the future.
Last summer, they were primarily interested in Athletic Club winger Nico Williams but when he declined to come, they turned their focus to Dani Olmo.
Marcus Rashford of Manchester United was their top target during the January transfer window but they were unable to meet their salary cap.
Barcelona is less interested in Williams because of his more humble play and they won’t pursue players like Leroy Sane or Mohamed Salah because of their age.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was another player on their shortlist, but he has since joined Paris Saint-Germain.
Luis Diaz of Liverpool and Rafael Leao of AC Milan are now their top targets.
However, the recruitment department adores Diaz and considers him to be in his prime at the age of 28, reports Espana.
Additionally, Diaz stated that he wants to play for the Blaugrana.
Diaz is “very well positioned” to be that move if they can generate enough revenue to finance a significant one.
