In an email, the club informed Montjuic ticket holders that they may renew their season passes through the end of the 2024–2025 campaign.
“We inform you that the extension of the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys 24/25 pass will now include all remaining matches of the men’s first team in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League until the end of the 2024/25 season,” the club’s email stated.
“If you wish to extend your pass for these additional matches, you can do so via the following link.”
This announcement implies that the squad will play in Montjuic for the rest of the season, even though a return to Spotify Camp Nou has not been formally ruled out.
This development follows earlier this week’s news that the Blaugrana and the Barcelona City Council had negotiated a deal that would allow the club to use the Montjuic Stadium until May 20, reports Barca Universal.
Barcelona had intended to return to Spotify Camp Nou by the end of 2024, but building delays continued to push the date forward.
