Barcelona Youngster Working With Personal Trainer To Stay In Top Physically Condition Amid Uncertain Future

Ansu Fati may have started Barcelona’s latest encounter against Mallorca, but his future with the club remains uncertain.

At only 22 years old, the winger is no longer seen as a key component in the team’s plans, but he has not let the situation alter his attitude. Instead of losing focus, he has decided to take charge of his own development.

According to a recent Mundo Deportivo article, the former Brighton loanee has taken extra precautions to be in peak physical shape.

Since Christmas, Ansu has been working with a personal fitness trainer outside of the club’s premises.

Taking responsibility for his comeback

The contrast in match rhythm was obvious for Ansu after a long stretch of limited minutes. While his potential was undeniable, a lack of continuous game time made it difficult for him to keep up with the fast tempo of competitive football.

Recognising this, Ansu did not wait for another chance and took matters into his own hands.

In addition to regular training sessions at the club’s facilities, Ansu did private exercises to improve his strength, stamina, and sharpness.

As a result, he was full of enthusiasm against Mallorca, regularly asking for the ball, running hard, and assisting his teammates in creating space. Even though he did not score or assist, his overall contribution was significant.

With Robert Lewandowski out injured, Barcelona need every attacking player ready to step up. Ansu’s improved attitude and effort could be beneficial in the last stretch of the season.

While his long-term prospects are questionable, his professionalism and passion suggest he will not give up without a fight.

Even though his time at Barcelona is coming to an end, Ansu Fati is doing everything he can to go out on top.
