The father of Barcelona forward, Ansu Fati believes his son is unfairly treated at the Catalan club and advised his son to leave.
The future of Fati has been a topic of much discussion in recent weeks. The Blaugrana have made the 20-year-old available for a transfer. As they need to make some significant sales in order to achieve Financial Fair Play.
But Fati has been hesitant to depart the club thus far. And on Tuesday, the youngster’s agent, Jorge Mendes, officially declared the player’s position.
He said: “Ansu wants to stay. He wants to stay. He has scored three goals in his last games. What else do you want? He is a phenomenon. One of the best young players in the world. One day he will win the Ballon d’Or.”
However, according to reports from Barca Universal, Bori Fati, the father of Ansu, doesn’t think Barcelona are treating the 20-year-old fairly or giving him enough opportunity.
As a result, the father of the La Masia graduate wants his son to quit the club this summer.

Ansu’s predicament has already been brought up by Bori Fati, who criticized the club for giving the forward so few opportunities during the 2022–23 season.
“Ansu does not want to leave Barcelona, but I want to see him succeed. I won’t go to the stadium anymore, I’m very angry with the club. As a father, I have told Ansu that it is better for him to leave. But Ansu has told me that he does not agree with me on this. He wants to stay,” he said.
