Robert Lewandowski has met with a fan who went viral after he scored his first World Cup goal for Poland against Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The 33-year-old is one of the greatest strikers to have ever played the game. However, prior to Poland’s game against Saudi Arabia on the weekend, he had never scored in the World Cup.
He managed to break his duck though as he netted in Poland’s 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia.
Lewandowski scored his side’s second in the 82nd minute to give them all three points.
A supporter watching on at the game went viral with his reaction to Lewandowski’s goal.
The fan had a Saudi Arabia shirt on but, after Lewandowski made it 2-0 to Poland, whipped it off to unveil a Poland shirt underneath.
Lewandowski saw the video of the fan and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
