Bayern Munich is reportedly selling up to eight players this summer in order to complete a deal for Liverpool winger Sadio Mane.
Sadio Mane has expressed a desire to leave Anfield this summer, with Bayern Munich expressing an interest in signing him as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is leaving the club. So far, the German behemoths have run into a slew of problems in negotiations.
Their first offer was turned down outright by the Reds, and their second offer was also turned down by the Merseyside club due to a number of unrealistic add-ons that did not entice Liverpool to sell. However, Bayern may have no problem of finances for a move as they look to offload some marginal players.
According to Bild, Bayern Munich is willing to sell up to eight first-team players this summer if they receive suitable offers. Omar Richards, Joshua Zirkzee, Christian Früchtl, Christopher Scott, and Sarpreet Singh are among the players who could leave.
Meanwhile, Marc Roca, a Spanish midfielder who arrived from Espanyol two seasons ago but unable to make an impression at the Allianz Arena, could be on his way out. Marcel Sabitzer, an Austrian midfielder, could be another shock departure.
The 28-year-old only joined Bayern last summer after a successful loan spell with RB Leipzig. He previously captained the Bundesliga club before joining Bayern less than a year ago. Sabitzer has only made nine starts for the Bundesliga champions in all competitions, despite his strong displays at the Allianz Arena.
It’s unclear how much Bayern Munich will be able to earn if they sell each of the eight players during the summer transfer window. However, they could be set to get a sizable sum if they agree to let Lewandowski leave.

The Polish striker has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but the two parties are yet to agree on a deal. He has, however, asked his current employers to let him go.
Speaking to Sport ONET, he said: “I just want to leave Bayern. Loyalty and respect are more important than the work. The best thing to do is find a solution together.
“They didn’t want to listen to me until the end. Something died inside me and it’s impossible to get over that. Even if you want to be professional, you can’t make up for it. No other offers were even considered by me other than that of Barcelona. I want to leave Bayern, that’s clear.”
