Oliver Kahn, CEO of Bayern Munich, has stated that the club will not be signing Cristiano Ronaldo during the January transfer window.
The 37-year-old striker is now available on a free transfer after Manchester United abruptly ended his £480,000 per week contract last week.
Ronaldo was fired from Old Trafford after a heated interview with Piers Morgan in which he attacked the club’s owner, the Glazer family, manager Erik ten Hag, and former colleagues Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville, leaving him with no way to return to Manchester.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who is currently in Qatar leading Portugal at the World Cup while removal workers begin to work on his £5 million Cheshire property, will soon decide where he will play club football.
Will Bayern Move To Sign Ronaldo?
A move to Bavaria has, however, already been ruled out by Bayern legend-turned-club-official Kahn.
“We have already dealt with this,” the Allianz Arena chief told Sky Germany. He referenced when Jorge Mendes offered his superstar client to the Bundesliga champions over the summer.
“We have a clear idea, a clear philosophy of how our squad should be put together.

“We all appreciate him, there’s no discussion, we all love Cristiano Ronaldo. But that’s something that doesn’t fit into our idea.”
Fortunately for the ex- Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Juventus hero, there are reportedly other offers on the table.
CBS Sports claims that Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al Nassr have presented Ronaldo with a mammoth $225m (£187m) three-year package.
