Barcelona hopes to avoid having to sell any of its valuable assets in order to bolster the rest of the team when they enter the summer transfer market in 2024.
Theoretically, they have concluded that it is not worth losing their nerve, as Joan Laporta has confirmed that Barça has already received and turned down offers for a number of important players.
The most notable of those is unquestionably Ronald Araujo, who has garnered significant interest from Bayern Munich and the Premier League.
The idea of bringing the Uruguayan to the Bavarians was nourished by their current coach, Thomas Tuchel. They also made an unsuccessful attempt to sign the player in the winter transfer window of 2024 as reported by Barca News

Bayern reportedly withdrew their interest in Araujo because of the operation’s expenses. They would have to part with Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt, or Min-jae Kim for a hefty sum to be able to afford Araujo.
Nevertheless, even though Tuchel is scheduled to depart the team at the end of the current campaign, an update from SPORT indicates that Bayern is still interested in signing Araujo.
They are reportedly prepared to pay a hefty sum of money to secure his signature as well, as they have reportedly already notified Barcelona of a potential €100 million offer.
Luckily for Barcelona, Araujo isn’t thinking about leaving the team. The Catalans are prepared to try and persuade him of his significance as well and in the coming months, a new contract is anticipated to be presented.
Araujo came through La Masia like some of the other young players, but club president Joan Laporta and director Deco think he is a player “made for Barcelona.”
