Bianconeri ace offered new two-year deal

Juan Cuadrado looks on course to stay with Juventus as reports claim a new deal is in the pipeline for the Colombia international. The 31-year-old’s time with the Old Lady appeared to be up last season after he slipped down the pecking order under the leadership of former boss Massimiliano Allegri.
There was talk of a summer switch to the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, but it failed to materialise and he ended up staying at the Allianz Stadium.
Since then there has been a huge turnaround in his fortunes, mainly due to the fact that new boss Maurizio Sarri is a big fan and has played him in the last eight Serie A games.
The former Chelsea boss has converted Cuadrado from a winger to a right-back, and it is a move that has paid off as he has gone on to shine for the Bianconeri.
So much so, Juve officials have offered him a two-year deal, and there is a very good chance he will sign it.
Juve’s sporting director Fabio Paratici broke the news to Sky Sports Italia after their 1-0 win over AC Milan at the weekend, saying that talks are already well underway.
Cuadrado joined Juve from Chelsea back in 2015 and has scored 15 goals in 150 appearances for the club, but he now looks set to build on that over the next couple of years.
It is likely to be the player’s last big contract as it will take him to 33, and he is taking his time before committing to it.
