Borussia Dortmund Ready To Accept £83m For Jude Bellingham

Premier League clubs chasing Jude Bellingham have received a big boost in their pursuit of the midfielder, with Borussia Dortmund willing to accept £83m cash for his signature.

The 19-year-old is likely to be one of the most sought-after on the market in 2023, with a slew of elite European clubs vying for his signature.

Bellingham moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020, and he has thrived at the Westfalenstadion.

The England international has already recorded a century of appearances for the Bundesliga club, scoring 13 goals and setting up 18 more.

Bellingham has played each one of his team’s first 10 games of the 2022-23 season, scoring twice in the Champions League and once in the DFB-Pokal.

The midfielder’s contract at the Westfalenstadion expires in 2025, but he is expected to leave the club in the next summer transfer window after Dortmund kept him for the 2022-23 season.

Will Man City Sign Jude Bellingham?

Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all set to compete for Bellingham’s signing, and The Sun reports that a fee of £83m may suffice.

However, the report adds that any contenders will have to pay the entire fee in one lump sum if a deal is to be struck, making Man City the early frontrunners.

Pep Guardiola’s side are reportedly ‘convinced’ that they will win the race for Bellingham’s services, but Liverpool are poised to push their Premier League title rivals all the way.

Chelsea and Manchester United are both in the background, but both clubs are aware that failure to qualify for the Champions League will put an end to their chances of signing the former Birmingham youngster.

However, according to a recent report, a move to Real Madrid is a more attractive choice for Bellingham, who played the entire 90 minutes in England’s 1-0 Nations League defeat to Italy on Friday, which saw the Three Lions relegated from League A.
