Ousmane Dembele has been hailed as a “special” talent by former Barcelona forward, Martin Braithwaite. Braithwaite claims he has never seen a player quite like the Barcelona winger.
Since agreeing to a new deal in the summer, Dembele has played a significant role for Xavi’s team.
He contributed two assists in Barca’s 5-1 victory against Viktoria Plzen in their opening Champions League match of the season, to Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
What Did Braithwaite Say About Dembele?
The former Barcelona striker claims that the France international is one of the most exciting players in the world of football right now, after Lionel Messi.
The Danish international also claims that the winger has a bigger impact on the team at Camp Nou than Robert Lewandowski.
“Dembele is very good. I like him a lot. He has a huge talent. I have never seen someone with his talent. I’m serious,” he said to Tot Costa.

“Leo Messi is something else, but after him, I haven’t seen any player like Dembele. The boy is special.
“Dembele individual talent has more impact than that of a player like Lewandowski, individually speaking. Ousmane is incredible. A good player and a good person. Lewandowski scores a lot of goals, I am happy for him, he is a great professional,” he added.
