Brighton Submit £30M Offer For Player Arsenal Have Already Bid For

Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly submitted a £30 million bid for Fenerbahce defender, Ferdi Kadioglu ahead of a possible move this summer.

For the majority of the summer, Arsenal have been strongly linked to a move for Kadioglu.

It’s evident that Arteta has a lot of affinity for Kadioglu because in June several reports claim that the Gunners had a £17 million deal for him rejected.

The 24-year-old stunned with Turkey at Euro 2024 and has many teams on the continent on notice.

According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu as reported by TBR Football, Brighton are one of those teams and have recently submitted a £30.1 million offer that Fenerbahce are taking into consideration.

The reporter also mentioned on his X account that the Turkish outfit have received offers from two Premier League teams that are not identified, therefore it’s possible that Arsenal are one of them.

With Riccardo Calafiori being their only acquisition thus far in the summer transfer season, Arsenal have demonstrated patience.

Arteta and Sporting Director Edu Gaspar have been closely collaborating to pinpoint the north-London club’s ideal targets. And it’s evident that they’re more interested in adding quality than quantity.

They believe they have it in Calafiori, who excelled for Italy at Euro 2024. And there are rumors that Mikel Merino is set to sign a contract with Arsenal.
