Following a protracted absence due to a hamstring injury, the England international made a triumphant comeback against Fulham and has since participated in both Arsenal games.

But as his current contract is coming to an end, the team is eager to lock him down and is doing everything in their power to keep him in the team.

Arsenal’s new sports director Andrea Berta wants to finalize Saka’s new contract before the summer and an offer of £300,000 a week will be put on the table.

Saka now earns £195,000 per week, which will help him advance to the club’s top levels.

This amount is comparable to the £350,000 per week contract that former Gunners record acquisition Mesut Ozil reportedly signed in 2018.

The Gunners are also interested in extending William Saliba, and the center-back is probably going to receive a comparable salary offer, reports Fourfourtwo.

Since Saka’s team has no desire for another competition, there is no sign that he could depart Arsenal this summer or the next.

The 23-year-old is worth €150 million. The Champions League action begins this week when Arsenal travels to Real Madrid for the second leg of the quarterfinals.
