Carlo Ancelotti Condemns Racism In Football: “Vinicius Is Not The Only One”

Carlo Ancelotti current season has been anything but easy, with recurring injuries hurting the club and a lack of stability in terms of player availability.

Despite the obstacles in his path, the Italian coach has mostly kept Real Madrid competitive in all competitions. Despite not winning the Spanish Super Cup, they are still competing for La Liga, the UCL, and the Spanish Cup.

The coming month will be critical for Los Blancos, as they will have the opportunity to secure their position in the Cup final, advance to the UCL quarterfinals, and maybe fight their way back into La Liga. A large part will be determined by Ancelotti’s tactics and man management. Reported By Mardid Univser.

Ancelotti offers his opinions.

In a recent media interview, the Real Madrid manager discussed racism in sport and explained how it affected more than just his player Vinicius Jr.

“Vinicius faces numerous attacks, but he is not the only one. It also happened to Nico Williams. We need to take several steps forwards.

“The fact that they are good players could be an excuse to attack them more, but that should not happen,” he said about players who are targeted because of their race.

Ancelotti then spoke about Luka Modric, who continues to win hearts despite his age.

“The Real Madrid generation includes Sergio Ramos, Cristiano, Benzema, Kroos, and Marcelo… Modric stayed and trains every day as if it were his last.

Ancelotti also commented on the development of Nico Paz, who left Real Madrid for regular minutes in Como, and stated that he keeps an eye on such young academy players.

“Nico Paz is performing very well.”

Finally, Ancelotti was asked about his future plans, particularly with reports of a managerial change at the club at the end of the season.

“The future?” I have not decided when my time at Real Madrid will end. That’s evident to me. The president will make the final decision, which will take place sooner or later.”

“My son, David?” He’ll be a good coach,” he said, predicting a bright future for his kid.
