Chelsea are reportedly in line to receive ban from all UEFA competitions for the 2024/25 season.
The majority of the season has seen the Blues outside of the top seven Premier League rankings, which is necessary to be eligible to play continental football.
But Mauricio Pochettino’s team have been playing outstandingly well recently, as they have picked up seven points from their last three games involving West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa.
Chelsea have since passed Manchester United in the race for seventh place and even have a chance to sneak into the top six.
However, as has been repeatedly reported this season, Chelsea’s losses and recent transfer window expenditures may pose problems for them in the future.
By the next accounting date of June 30, co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital will already be struggling to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability regulations.
Chelsea, who have already reported losses of more than £200 million for the previous two seasons, must make sure they do not incur a loss of £105 million over the course of three years.
According to Football Insider as claimed by Sport Mole, passing UEFA’s more restrictive regulations will be much more challenging due to their stricter guidelines.

According to the report, Chelsea could be suspended from UEFA competitions if they are unable to bring in a significant amount of funds in the near future through player sales.
In recent seasons, UEFA have banned teams like Juventus and Galatasaray. Juventus agreed to that ruling prior to 2023–24. And they were given a €20 million fine, of which they would only have to pay half if they eventually fulfilled UEFA’s financial requirements.
